MV Patricia

Meet the MV Patricia, a beloved local vessel with a rich history. Originally serving as a passenger ferry to Tanera Mòr in the Summer Isles, Patricia has been fully upgraded for your comfort and safety. Now a spacious 29-foot Versatility hull with a Ford engine, she accommodates up to 9 passengers and is licensed to operate up to 20 miles from Ullapool. Equipped with a toilet, and tea and coffee facilities, Patricia ensures a comfortable journey at a steady 7 knots, perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery.

Fishing Trips

Experience the rejuvenated marine life in the Wester Ross Marine Protected Area, with fishing that has improved dramatically since its establishment in 2016. Expect to catch a variety of species including pollock, mackerel, cod, and many more. Ullapool Charters offers fishing trips of varying lengths:

• Mainly Mackerel:
  • 4-hour trips: £65 per person, departs at 8 AM and 2 PM.
  • 8-hour trips: £95 per person, departs at 9 AM.
  • 2-hour Evening Mackerel trips: £35 per person, available from July, departs at 7 PM.

Booking and Additional Information

• Minimum Passengers: A minimum of 4 clients is needed for a trip, but attempts to team up with other parties can be arranged.
• Weather and Tide Dependence: Trips are subject to weather conditions and tidal patterns.
• Equipment and Catering: All fishing equipment and bait are provided, though guests are welcome to bring their own. Catering options can also be arranged with prior notice.
